Church Organizations

We welcome you to join us in one of our small groups.  Come and be a part of a great ministry!

Choir:

The choir of First United Methodist Church is a great place to share your musical gifts.  Help others worship the Lord as well as enjoying the fellowship and fun of this great group!  The choir season begins with Rally Day on Sunday, September 7!

Mother's Club:

Women of the Church who meet monthly to discuss Church and family issues.

Bible

Study:

These short-term study groups meet to delve into a variety of faith topics.  Groups average between 4 and 8 sessions and are available both during the day and in the evening.  Everybody is welcome to come out a join in these exciting and provocative sessions.  For upcoming dates and topics, please contact the church office at (610) 258-0371.

Supper Club:

The main purpose of this group is to raise funds for the church through the sale of Pepper Pot Soup, Shoo-Fly Pies, and Apple Dumplings, as well as putting on suppers for different events.  There is lots of cooking for sure, with fun and fellowship as the main ingredient!

Youth Group:

Youth Group meets regularly between September and May with activities such as Christmas caroling, weekend retreats, pizza parties, bowling, social gatherings, and other Church functions.  Our youth group is a fast growing community of pre-teens and young adults.  Join in on all the fun and excitement.  For further information contact Mike or Pat Antonow at 610-258-1143.

Health Ministries:

The Health Ministries Team at First United Methodist Church provides basic health screenings, educational events and visitation.  Don’t worry if you are not skilled in the health professions.  One of our health professionals will help you find your niche in helping others!

Just Us Group:

The Just Us ladies are women whose husbands have already gone to be with God, leaving them behind to cope with everyday life.  So, we decided to get together--usually more a social meeting--to help one another through some rough spots and share some of our blessings.  By sharing, we've found strength, help and support.  For more information or meeting dates and times contact the church office at 610-258-0371.
